Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. I am not surprised why most of the reviews are so good.
Immediately after our civil wedding, we held a Prosecco reception for friends in the Wallraf-Richartz Café. Both we and our guests were very enthusiastic about the implementation and the support by the team, we had wonderful, very relaxed two hours that we could not have imagined better. Here again a very warm and express thank you to the team! Recommended at any time!
Stylish, serene, and friendly little cafe where you can get lunch with a spritz or glass of wine, or coffee and cake. Make it a quick stop, or make a day of it exploring the museum's collections and temporary exhibits and their excellent gift shop. A new (to me) favorite!
Favorite place in Cologne and super friendly team!
Everything OK!
Quality quite good, but little choice because of corona. Operation could be more professional.
Small card for breakfast. There was a lack of choice. Very tasty cappuccino. There is a small changing memory card and quiche in the permanent offer. The cake looked great and there was a lot of choice ... at least before the usual coffee time / around 12 o'clock. After we got out of the museum ... it must have been quite early afternoon, the cake battle was almost over. Everything that had laughed at us at cake before visiting the museum was already gone. It's a shame. ... I guess if I could have tried the cake, I would have given one more star. ... maybe next time. I keep the last star because of the sober atmosphere, in which no sound is swallowed.
Super delicious cake! Gladly again! Service super nice and great atmosphere.
Wonderful! Gladly again!
The somewhat different cafe in the Wallraf! The ambience is very inviting. Innovative. Refreshingly different. Youthful. Decorated according to the local conditions and yet pleasantly simple. The guest sits quite comfortably with a view of the service area. Of course, there is art on the walls and two large chandeliers are eye-catching. You can't miss the menus on the wall to the left & right of the counter. So the guest knows immediately which culinary delights await him on that day. The waiting time for food and drink is short. The service staff is extremely friendly & gives every guest an honest smile. There are delicious cakes and tartlets (these are presented in a glass refrigerator), salads, quiche, fine soups and a good selection of drinks. A visit to the Wallraf-Cafe is a worthy and beautiful end to a visit to the exhibitions of the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum
Delicious food, lots of choice
Nice place. Friendly people.
Phänomelas team which leaves no wishes unfulfilled for the visitors. Super fast, super fast, professionals from A to Z. Great. Price-performance for a museum cafe quite common. Highly Recommended. Even large square table mats to eat decently or to work for freelancers. The coffees are TOP, the cake fresh and delicious.
Delicious food at changing menu and friendly service :)
Sensational cake, nice ambience and very nice staff.
Certainly the best museum cafe in Cologne. In the middle of the old town, close to the shopping miles. Very delicious cake and lunch, great coffee. Was never disappointed, an institution for Cologne residents too!
Last week I made a spontaneous trip from Frankfurt to Cologne. Because I heard about the cafe from friends on Facebook and I have been able to see absolutely great cakes in postings for weeks. I decided to make a detour to the cafe at the end of the day. After penne with salmon, which was absolutely delicious and fresh, I was looking forward to the strawberry cake. And with that I have to say my visit to Cologne was rounded off with a highlight. All in all, I can only say that the delicious food surrounded by the nice service staff means that the next time I visit Cologne, not only the cathedral is on the agenda ?
Always something special: the nice landlady has something unusual ready, for a break while enjoying art there is enjoyment for body and soul. The restaurant is also open separately from the museum, in the museum it is accessible from the reception.
Here you can get very good coffee and great cakes. Worth a stay even without visiting a museum! Great music in a modern ambience and very nice staff including owner round off the visit to this café. Even with children you are always welcome here! We like to come over!
This café is one of my absolute favorite cafes in Cologne. The menu changes regularly and the dishes are always delicious. I can recommend the cakes and a visit regardless of the museum visit.
Was the days there with my girlfriend. The service was super nice and looked after us really well. The food was also very good (tortellini and a salad). The cake for dessert was the top hammer, so cool guaranteed fresh and homemade. Would love to come back.
Nice location, delicious cakes and very attentive friendly service. Gladly again anytime!
Really rude owner, no idea what the food is like as we didn't bother staying! Loads of other places to grab a bite to eat or a coffee within walking distance so I recommend you go elsewhere!
